I have a little friend who is trying to convince me that spring is coming. It IS the end of January after all. But, I’m going to reserve judgement until after I hear from Phil, Willie and Sam.

I think that Mother Nature has been mistreating me ALL January. Compensatory warm weather damages should be provided to me as soon as possible so I suffer no longer. Cold is an insidious invader and strips the soul bare. And that my friends is just NOT fair!

I just read an article about things to do when it’s cold outside. It suggested making snow forts, snow angels, snow men, snow children…okay I made that last bit up. But you could bury those kids in the snow. Kinda like the beach except with snow. Would it be bad to leave them out there?
I will NOT be training in Iqaluit on Thursday night, where it will be a balmy -41 celsius with the windchill.
